Will I receive 100% of my compensation?
In most cases you will receive 100% of any compensation that we recover for you.
This is possible because our legal costs can usually be recovered from the party against whom the claim is made (on top of any damages which you may receive).
Unfortunately this does not apply to claims involving untraced drivers (through the Motor Insurers Bureau) or the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, because neither of these schemes make provision for payment of legal costs. We will, in those circumstances, agree a fixed fee with you (based upon a percentage of your damages), and make no charge to you at all if your claim fails.
Similarly if the claim relates to an accident or illness sustained abroad, other funding options may need be to be considered.
We will discuss with you in full from the outset of your claim how the no win no fee agreement works, any other funding options which may be available to you, and whether there are any reasons why you will not receive 100% of any compensation awarded.
