Staff from Neil Hudgell Solicitors took to the air today (2.2.12) on West Hull Community Radio.
Senior Solicitor Sean Gordon and Marketing Executive Paula Bielby joined Fiona Mills from the radio station for their debut Legal Eagle slot which will happen on the first Thursday of every month.
Listeners to WHCR, based on Anlaby Road, are encouraged to phone in for expert advice on legal matters, particularly personal injury and medical negligence claims – the area of law in which Neil Hudgell Solicitors specialise.
Sean Gordon said: “I love being a solicitor but in my teenage years I was also a presenter on hospital radio and also programme manager at the University of Hull radio station. This regular slot brings together two of my passions and I ‘m really looking forward to offering legal guidance to the people of Hull through their local radio station.”
Paula Bielby said: “It was a pleasure to take to the air and to try to help listeners with their issues. Serving local people and being at the heart of the community is a priority which Neil Hudgell Solicitors shares with WHCR.”
David Fewster, Managing Director at WHCR said: “We are delighted that a company with such a great reputation for supporting community projects is now choosing to partner with WHCR.”
Neil Hudgell Solicitors has three offices in Hull – Holderness Road, Kingswood and Princes Avenue – and one in Leeds. 2012 is a special year for the firm as it is celebrating its 15 anniversary providing specialist personal injury and medical negligence advice.
West Hull Community Radio broadcasts on 106.9FM and online, providing a unique mix of local information, interviews and music to West Hull and the surrounding villages of Anlaby, Cottingham, Hessle and Willerby with an adult population 90,000.
