Neil Hudgell Solicitors goes bright for BRAKE

9th December 2011

Neil Hudgell Solicitors has renewed its sponsorship of BRAKE, the national road safety charity.

The firm will continue to support Brake’s Road Safety Week resources page on its website for a further two years (2012 and 2013): http://www.roadsafetyweek.org.uk/index.php?/road-safety-resources.html

Michelle Maltby, Head of Operations at Neil Hudgell Solicitors, (pictured above with Richard Coteau, Brake's fund-raising officer) said: “We are keen to continue supporting Brake because it does such an important job in raising awareness of road safety issues, particularly among young people.

“We hope that our sponsorship will help Brake at a national level and locally too. We want to get our staff behind the charity and enable Brake to get its message across to the communities in Hull and Leeds in which we work.”

Also during national Road Safety Week, which starts on 19th November 2013, Neil Hudgell Solicitors will be holding a Bright Day for Brake at all the firm’s four offices: Holderness Road, Kingswood, Princes Avenue in Hull and Armley Court in Leeds.

The Bright Day for Brake will raise additional funds for the charity as staff will make a donation so they can wear Day-Glo and garish outfits for the day!

Neil Hudgell Solicitors is also hoping to hold a poster completion with primary schools close to its offices to allow children to take part in a 'design a poster for RSW' competition.

The winning submission will be printed for the schools to display and a prize will be provided to the winner.

Any schools local to our offices are invited to contact Paula Bielby, Neil Hudgell Solicitor’s marketing executive, if they would like to take part.
