Neil Hudgell Solicitors expands medical negligence team with the appointment of a further specialist in brain injury claims

Stuart Hanley, a specialist in medical negligence cases including claims for brain injured children, has joined Yorkshire law firm Neil Hudgell Solicitors.
Stuart, from York, has more than 20 years’ experience handling complex, high value claims against hospitals and GPs on behalf of patients, in particular children who have suffered brain injury or birth trauma such as cerebral palsy.
Stuart is listed in the Legal 500 where he is described as “experienced, knowledgeable and friendly”. He is also a registered Senior Litigator for APIL, The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
He also has a number of other professional accreditations and memberships awarded only to qualified and very experienced practitioners who demonstrate proficiency working for a reputable and well-run firm with high standards of client care.
Stuart is on the Law Society’s Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Panels, the AvMA (Action for Medical Accidents) Clinical Negligence Panel and the Solicitors’ Panel of Headway, the brain injury association.
Stuart joins from Langleys Solicitors in York and is heading up the clinical negligence team at Neil Hudgell Solicitors’ Leeds office.

Stuart’s appointment further strengthens the firm’s team of medical negligence experts which include Simon Wilson, Vince Shore and Chris Moore – all based at Neil Hudgell Solicitors’ Hull offices.
Stuart, who’s originally from St Helen’s in Lancashire, studied law at The University of East Anglia followed by Law Society Finals at Chester.
