About my role:

My role with Neil Hudgell Solicitors as Legal Executive involves fast track personal injury claims which include road traffic accident claims, accidents at work, slips/trips in public places and highway claims against the local authority.

The highlight of my career was qualifying as a legal executive. I began as a secretary and studied whilst working full time and running a home, it was hard work but well worth the effort.

I am a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and more recently accredited APIL litigator.

Away from the office:

I attend Anlaby Park Methodist Church and am a singer in their worship band. My main hobby is singing and I am a member of a large female choir – The Maureen Hunter Singers.

I also love live music and follow my favourite bands all over the country and sometimes even abroad, having been to America, Switzerland, Germany, Dublin and Belfast to see the bands that I love. My friends and colleagues who don’t understand think I’m a bit of a groupie – but to my music loving friends – it’s just normal!
