About my role:
I am the Managing Director of Neil Hudgell Solicitors and founded the company in September 1987.
This year I will be celebrating the fifteenth year of Neil Hudgell Solicitors along with many of my long-serving colleagues.
Born in Hull in 1966, I studied Law at the University of Staffordshire, gaining an honours degree. I completed a Masters Degree at the University of Hull in 1991. I was awarded a Doctorate in Law by The University of Hull in 2009.
I am a personal injury lawyer and have been acting for clients who have suffered significant trauma for over 20 years. I manage a growing business with major expansion ambitions. With four offices across Yorkshire I am proud to manage a team of solicitors who put the client’s needs at the centre of every claim we take on. This is why I established a business model with a range of partners offering rehabilitation support to our clients.
I am proud that 9 out of 10 former clients would recommend us to their family and friends.

I have been the Chairman of Hull Kingston Rovers since 2004. A lifelong fan of the club, in my time as Chairman the club has risen from National League obscurity to become Super League contenders.
I am also a former Vice President and current sponsor of Hull City. I am also a keen runner and take part in events such as the Hornsea 1/3 marathon, which the firm sponsor annually in April.
