Pressure Sores
It is traumatic enough to see a loved one in hospital particularly if they are frail and elderly. It is even more upsetting to then discover that because they have not received appropriate treatment, they have developed pressure sores.
This is an all too common occurrence and with appropriate nursing care, can be easily avoided.
