Neglect, Abuse and Criminal Injury
At Neil Hudgell Solicitors, we understand that potentially discussing the abuse you have suffered will be a difficult decision to make.

When you approach us for initial advice, our job is to inform you of the process and give you an idea of how your claim will be handled. This will involve taking information with regards to the nature of the abuse you suffered and whether your injuries are physical/psychological or both.
If you have not already reported your abuse to the police, Neil Hudgell Solicitors advise abuse victims to do so, however, this would be completely your decision. All Police forces throughout the UK now have specialist departments dedicated to helping victims of abuse. If you would like one of our solicitors to make contact with the police on your behalf, we will be happy to do so.
Once our specialists have determined you have a claim we can pursue, they will arrange for medical experts to help with preparing evidence and reports to support the claim.
