Hairdresser and Beauty Therapy Negligence
There is currently no registration scheme in the UK for hairdressers or beauty therapists, so you cannot always be sure of receiving professional treatment everytime. Thankfully the majority of those providing personal care services have undertaken some training in their specialist field - but this is not always the case.
If you have suffered negligence at the hands of a hairdresser or beautician you can be left with embarrassing symptoms which can cause long term suffering and distress.
Often hair and beauty salons do not offer a patch test or skin test to their clients to reduce the risk of allergic reactions to the chemicals and products used.
We have experience of dealing with a range of hairdressing negligence claims involving:
